Children of Hope Foundation is devoted to educating, inspiring and encouraging people to understand and respond to the needs of people, especially the poor and disadvantaged. The mission of the Children of Hope Foundation is carried out through projects and programs aimed at improving the quality of life for the very poor in Haiti.  We are dedicated to providing support on:
  • Education
  • Health
  • Nutrition
  • Water
  • Sanitation
Which will enhance the quality of life.  Our objective is to help Haitians help themselves.

On January 1, 1804, Haiti proclaimed its independence. Through this action, it became the second independent state in the Western Hemisphere and the first free black republic in the world. Haiti's uniqueness attracted much attention and symbolized the aspirations of enslaved and exploited peoples around the globe.

Haiti is the poorest country in the region, with catastrophic social indicators, ranking it 153th out of 177 countries according to the 2005 index of the Human Development Report of UNDP.  Nearly 40% of adult Haitians are illiterate, and the net rate of attendance at primary school does not exceed 49%.  Traditionally much below regional and world averages, the humanitarian and health situation in Haiti is currently extremely precarious, due much to current circumstances such as  structural deficiencies and the economic situation.
